Rabbit
Rabbits are always, always popular. They want everyone they meet to like them so they try hard to be kind, funny and interesting all the time.
They will also do anything to avoid an argument. They love to help others too.
The Rabbit is no angel, though. Because they want to be liked so much they sometimes keep their true opinions to themselves and can sometimes end up looking like a phony! They're not really
party animals either. Rabbits are likely to be found at home, hanging out with their family.
Rabbits hate any kind of trouble but they want to succeed in life so badly that they might hurt a few people getting to the top. They don't mean to be nasty but sometimes they have to use unfair means of getting to the top.
Rabbits find it hard to stick to a relationship so anyone who falls for one will have to work hard at keeping them entertained or they'll soon be off! Rabbits can be lazy and demanding which will drive their friends mad from time to time, but overall they're a brilliant mate to have!
You Would Get Along With:
- Rabbits get along well with Goats because they are easy to trust.
- They are very good friends with Pigs because they're both kind and friendly.
- They are most compatible with with dogs because they both are very social.
Pig
Pigs are almost too good to be true - they're kind, friendly, faithful, helpful and hard-working. Yet, despite all this, Pigs can sometimes be a bit scheming and small-minded which can often drive those around them completely crazy.
Pigs are the most strong-minded of all Chinese astrology animals - once they've set their mind on doing something they'll do it no matter how many people tell them it's a terrible idea.
Pigs are very close to their family and because they come across as quite mysterious they're very attractive to members of the opposite sex. But only the most persistent boyfriend or girlfriend will succeed in getting the Pig to drop their defenses and open up to them. When they do, however, Pigs are likely to fall deeply in love but should watch out they don't get a broken-heart into the bargain.
Although Pigs work very hard, they love to eat, sleep and spend ages in the bathroom! They are about the kindest and the most dangerous animal in Chinese astrology.

- They'd be good friends with Rabbits because they're both kind.
- They'd also be compatible with Tigers as they're both kind creatures.
Goat
Goats are known for their easy-going and helpful nature. They are very sensitive and can't even bear the sight of a cat with a sore paw on Animal Hospital! Goats are also very creative, many are good painters and they also love good food. But though they love spending money they can be just as happy with no cash whatsoever.
Despite their gentle nature, Goats are not complete softies - if they think anyone is threatening them they'll fight as hard as they can and aren't scared of making real enemies. If you mess with Goats, they'll bear you a grudge for life!
They are also real flirts and this can often get them in deep trouble! Goats are very insecure in their relationships and many find it hard to get on with others so they don't have great big circles of mates. They're often very suspicious and don't always like letting anyone get close to them. But once they fall in love Goats usually stick with that person for life!
Goats will keep on chasing their dream until they succeed, it may take years but they'll get there in the end!

Horse
Horses could make a party out of an evening of exam revision - they're a real laugh, always chatting and getting everyone around them in a good mood too. If you don't fancy joining in the party, though, you'll soon see the Horse grumpy.
Horses can talk on just about any subject you can think of - even if they know nothing about it. They like to think they're clever even if they're not as smart as they think! They also find it hard to be serious about anything for long and can get into trouble for playing around when they shouldn't.
Horses are very persuasive - they could convince you that black is white if they wanted to! They need constant fun and hate to stay in one place for too long. as they get bored quicker than any other animal in Chinese astrology.
Horses also loves romance though they'll always be tempted if someone more entertaining come along! If your mum or dad is a Horse, they'll always take you on the most exciting days out but if they buy you a Playstation for your birthday they'll want to play it first!

- They'd be good friends with Tigers because they're both adventurous and fun.

Dog
Like the animals, human Dogs will protect anyone they see being threatened. They are loud, excitable and just hate being ignored. Most Dogs are charmers who can't make a decision to save their lives!
You can trust a Dog with anything except their own money - they love to shop until they drop but are somehow able to pay off their debts before they get a scary phone call from the bank.
Dogs are fun to hang out with and are usually pretty chirpy - when things go wrong for them they only need to spend a short time alone and they're back to their old selves. Unfortunately, these mood swings confuse the hell out of their mates.
Dogs are straight-forward and need to feel loved and supported if they're to reach the top. Their loving nature means they're lucky in love though they're often a bit naughty - probably because they're a little insecure!
Dogs are not always the easiest people to understand but they are always likeable. With a wag of their tails, Dogs will have you thinking they're real stars!
You Would Get Along With:

- They'd be good friends with Tigers because though they both find it hard to open up to people, they can be open with each other!

Dragon
Dragons aren't named after that scary creature for nothing - they're ambitious, strong, fearless, bossy, hate to be crossed, love a challenge and always have to win! Blimey! Don't ask a Dragon for a quick game of Scrabble or you'll end up with a war on your hands!
Dragons have a real crazy streak too which can often land them in trouble at school or work. But while their mates sit around discussing what they want to do with their lives, the Dragon is already out there doing it. They always stand up for themselves and their friends and if you get one as a mate they'll look after you forever.
People who don't like Dragons usually think they're just too bossy and big-headed. Maybe that's because they're impatient and will rarely - if ever - say they're sorry. Even so, Dragons are actually very kind, loyal, honest folk and will always help those less fortunate than themselves.
Dragons were born to make money and are successful at work - in fact, that's often more important to them than their friends or family!

fireworks when they meet but they'll end up good mates!
Rat
Unlike the animals, those born in the year of the Rats are charming, energetic and bright so they'll always be the center of attention - especially at parties where they'll keep everyone entertained with their wild stories.
Rats can get on with anyone! But they're happiest with their best friends. They make the most loyal of mates, will stick with them through thick and thin and defend against anyone who bad mouths them. If a Rat doesn't like you, however, they could easily trick you into trusting them because they're so charming, so watch out!
Rats are greedy and will always put their hands up for seconds but they're so friendly that no-one ever minds. This means that they can pile on the pounds because they just love chips and chocolate!
Rats are easily bored and love to fill any spare time meeting with hobbies where they can meet new people. If you date a Rat, you'll always be entertained and they'll want to spend all their time with you!

Tiger
Lucky old Tigers - they're the best-looking of the animals and even it they're not beautiful, they've still got something gorgeous about them. They aren't scared to be different. These people just love to do, wear and say things that those around them just don't expect.
Tigers also love to visit places and countries that none of their family or friends have ever been to before. Having the same routine every day is guaranteed to bore a Tiger rigid.
Tigers are often a mystery to those around them, they like to be on their own a lot and don't discuss their feelings with many people which can make people think they're fakes. Hey, but they're good ones and can be great actors.
Tigers are known for their good taste, they're also good at art and music and are very tidy. A Tiger girl wouldn't dream of having chipped nail varnish! They are also very caring people who give to charity and always stand up against bullies.
Life around the Tiger is never dull. They aim to make an impression and usually succeed!

Snake
Though they're a good laugh, Snakes like to be on their own, preferring to curl up with a good book at home, go for a long walk or lie in the sun than go out partying. Which means sometimes people think they're lazy.
Snakes don't like to try anything new - they want to go to the same places and do the same things again and again. This doesn't mean they're boring though, they always look fantastic, loads of people fancy them and they can charm just about anyone that they meet. Though they have just a handful of loyal friends, they're friendly folk who would never bitch about anyone.
On the down side, Snakes will spend hours getting ready (if you've got a Snake in your house you'll never be able to get in the bathroom!), will lay in bed watching TV for most of the morning and will spend all their money on the coolest clothes.
Snakes are sexy, gentle and kind and can also sweet talk themselves, or their friends, out of any trouble.
You Would Get Along With:

Oxen
Oxen are one of the quietest types of animals but anyone who gets on the wrong side of them will soon see them sulk and act like a little kid! They don't often act like this and some never do, but if they do they can be pretty tough. Scary!
Watch out for Ox teachers and parents because they can be very strict and demand respect. They are also one of the most stubborn animals - so don't even think of trying to get them to change their mind!
The Ox loves to give advice and is usually pretty spot-on too, so listen up! If you try to give them advice, though, they'll just tell you to keep your nose out of their business!
Being such a sensible animal, Oxen don't get into relationships easily so any potential date will have to keep asking if they want a yes! Once they've got them, however, Oxen are very romantic and super-soppy.
Oxen are hard-working and though the more exciting signs might them a bit dull they're so ambitious that whatever they want in life- fame or fortune - they'll get it.
You Would Get Along With:
- You're compatible with Snakes as you're both sensible and peace-loving types.
- You're compatible with Roosters because you're both sensible types who love to dole out advice.
- You're compatible with Rats because you're both determined individuals who are likely to have loads in common.
Monkey
Monkeys are intelligent folk, many would say too clever for their own good! Yes, they're intelligent but they love to show off exactly how smart they are and outdo everyone around them. Which can sometimes be annoying!
Despite this, Monkeys aren't scared to show when they're in trouble or feeling down. Monkeys are very good workers, quite happy to put hours into any project and are successful at lots of different things - at school they'll get As in lots of subjects.
Monkeys love to dress up, look cool and go out a lot. They also tend to be a sexy bunch and make great girlfriends or boyfriends.
Monkeys take any criticism very personally and can often start arguments when there's nothing to argue about! They can sometimes be so big-headed that they think they have no faults at all!
If you have a Monkey friend you'll probably find you have them for life and they'll be happy to sort your problems out whenever you're in trouble. Just make sure you tell them how fantastic they are in return!
You Would Get Along With:
- Monkeys would get on well with Rats because they're both intelligent and make loyal friends.
- They'd be good friends with Pigs because they're both headstrong and Monkeys would love to sort Pigs' lives out.
- They'd also be compatible with Dogs because they're so loud!
Rooster
Human Roosters are pretty similar to the birds - they're stylish, fussy and just love to express their opinions! They love to put on a show, speak their own mind and can be very brave.
Roosters can take life a bit too seriously and sometimes people might think they have no sense of humor because of that. Many Roosters are also seen as busybodies as they just love giving people advice on how to live their lives - but they're only trying to be helpful!
Roosters can't stand any kind of mess - they're the type who will start rearranging and dusting your bedroom when they come round. They also love the country, preferring fields and woods to shops and clubs.
Roosters are kind people, though, who will dash to help an old lady across the road and will listen to even your most boring problems. Sometimes, they might seem annoying, but that's just because they're a bit nervy. Overall, they'll make a great friend you can share your deepest, darkest secrets with.
You Would Get Along With:
- Roosters would get on well with Oxen because they're both sensible types who love to dish out advice.
- They'd be good friends with Snakes because they both love to look after others and enjoy the quiet life.
- They'd also be compatible with Dragons because they're both loud, bossy and love a challenge. There could be fireworks when they meet but they'll end up good friends.
