BSSM Character Profiles 
Before Usagi ever became Sailor Moon, there was already a Sailor Senshi at work somewhere faraway from Juuban, Tokyo. Aino Minako was the first out of all the Sailor Senshi to find out about her destiny. In England she was know as Sailor V; a crime fighter who worked with police officers Alan and Katrina. Minako actually had a crush on Alan, but he is also the main reason why she returned to Japan. While Usagi is playing the latest Sailor V game at the crown arcade, somewhere in England Minako and Katrina set out to investigate a warehouse when a bomb explodes inside. Katrina looks around for Minako but only manages to find Alan instead. Katrina thought V died in the explosion and she passionately embraces Alan. Unbeknown to her, Minako was actually watching them embrace. She felt their love and decided that she should leave, letting them think she actually died in the explosion. She later returns to Japan to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. Minako first appears as Sailor Venus in episode 33 when the Sailor Senshi were caught into a trap created by Kunzite and Zoicite. The trap was part of Queen Beryl's master plan to capture Tuxedo Kamen and destroy the Sailor Senshi. Sailor Venus however was there to save them; Kunzite and Zoicite had no choice but to retreat. Minako and Usagi could actually be mistaken for twins; not only do they look alike but they act very similar. They get bad grades, they hate studying and are extremely lazy. It is ironic how both Minako and Usagi have guardian cats to teach them some responsibility. While Minako acts like Usagi at times, no one can deny how mature and responsible she is when it comes to her mission and destiny. It seems that being the first to learn about her destiny and the terror that she has come to face at such a young age while being Sailor V has helped her to grow up fast. It is no wonder that when she is around the Senshi--and Usagi in particular--she can relax and be herself. Back |
